During watching the semifinals of baseball, where our hometeam the Los Angeles Angels playing against the famous NY Yankees I will drop a few lines here. I'm sick AGAIN!!! What the hell is going on?! I treat my body as well as u possibly can do it, doing sports, eating healthy vegetables and fruits everyday and drinkin nothing else then water and beer. But yeah, as life can suck sometimes it tries to right now. But as you know me I wont let it win :-) Cause yesterday I finally found the last few percents to my perfect life!!!

To sum up the rest of the week, nothing special happened, worked a lot and the evenings where bothered by pain and tiredness. Friday after work I headed down to Venice to take some shots of the beautiful sunset again, and some of the pics are really awesome, like em. After this I went to Carloss to grab some good pizza, lay down in bed and watched TV, just chill, cause saturday was supposed to get busy. So it was, I started at 11 for my 2 hour drive to Santa Barbara to meet Anna, a dear friend from Ravensburg. On the way I stopped at Venturas Surfer Beach and spent an hour watching some really good dudes and also Stand-Up Surfers, impressing. After another hour driving I arrived at SB, a beautiful student city located between the ocean and the mountains. Nice! I stoped at a surfstore, shopped a really nice sweater and went down to the pier. Almost every city has a pier here, but SBs is definitely one of the nicest ones. (I would show u some photos, but sadly i forgot my Camera at Annas so an update will follow.)

Afterwards I met Anna and one of her friends, we grabbed something to eat and shopped around. Its always the same, a lot of surfshops, some other clothes stores and of course the Apple Store in every city:-) I like that! We went to Annas home and showered, talked and watched a hockey game before we drove down to her university. Its a huge one, I don't know how many students are there, but its huge! And the best thing, directly at the water. We went to a Soccer game of the university team, great! Good football and a lot of fun with all the fans. The team is called Gauchos (or something like that) what is a mexican guy. And so if they score, everybody is throwing taccos down to the field hahaha! Great! The referee seemed to be a bit pissed, but I loved it:-)

As the game was finished we went to a friend of annas house to join them at the OktoberFest party! Isla Vista a district where only students live, and its amazing. You walk down the road and in every single house is a party, hundrets of students partying, bands and djs are playing at the balconies or in the frontyards - ABSOLUTELY GREAT!!! As we came there, all was crowded with germans:-) At least 20 guys...damn! But yeah they were really nice so I dont mind. Funny thing, 4 students of the BA Ravensburg are there...haha poor small world. The location was great, a house directly at the cliff, a wooden balcony with a band playing and more than 50 people drinkin beer and having fun (these are the last few percents to my perfect life here haha). So we hung around, had some beers, talked to germans and HOT americans and played beer pong. I will describe that game another time... Yeah but the funny thing in the USA...at 12pm everythings over. Kind of weird, cause parties in germany are supposed to start at this time, but anyway, knowing of my 2 hour drive I wasn't that sad about this fact. So I brought (YANKEEES JUST WON - DAMN!!! ANGELS ARE OUT NOW...) Anna back home and drove as fast as I could back to LA, cause my health turned bad.

This morning I woke up with a hurting ear, throat, head cold and a bit of feever. Thank you for that! So i spent my day in bed, slept, watched series and cleaned my surfboard. I'm full of medicaments right now (thanks to Georgs Mum for the online doctor support and to my aunt Geli for giving me some tips). I'm high now, taking everything I got here to get well soon again, cause I got plans. My cuz Greg is coming soon and next weekend is Halloween and this will be awesome cause we're in Santa Barbara again. And I wanna go surfing KRUZEFIX!!! ;-)

Now, a movie, some meds and then sleep as long as I can!
See you all soon, dudes!

Hey dudes! What up?
Again, my ear is completely infected, and I gotta tell you, thats no fun at all. It hurts as shit and I'm almost going nuts with it, damn!!! I probably know what it is, I googled a lot cause doctors are not my friends....it seems to be a swimmers-/surfersear, caused by the bacteria in the water here. And that really sucks, cause, I mean I'm here for not even 3 months and its infected the third time, thumbs up ah?!

Yeah, this means no surfing for the rest of the week what makes me pissed cause the weather is just great right now, everyday we hit more than 25 celc-degrees and no clouds at all. But yeah, I need to figure out how to surf and don't get this infection again, maybe staying on the board and not falling in the water everytime would be a first step hehehe!

Beside that I'm still fine, everythings cool, work is intense but loads of fun and I got a new colleague called Ned, an american programmin dude, really nice guy and so I have a bit of company during the day, thats cool!

I'll write more when we're heading the weekend and my mood is better.
See you all soon, stay out of the water and don't SURF!:-)
Bye

Hey dudes and lovely chickens out there!
As you may already got out of the heading, one fourth of my trip is already over, wow time passes by so fast! Can't imgine to come back to Germany right now, honestly, cause life here is completely perfect right now!

My weekend was actually very very cool, well no, not that cool as it is in Germany (wow not even 100 words and the worst joke is already out ;-), yeah, but it was awesome! It started very relaxed with a good food and a movie night. Watched "21" and after that some great Motocross and Wakeboard videos, I can't tell you how stoked I am about these funsports right now, I devine bad times for mine and Georgs "THE WINGMAN"s health....

Saturday started with a bunch of skype session with home, its always good to hear from them all and that they're doing well. Afterwards I looked out the window, opened my temperature-widget and started laughin! 32 Degrees Celcius! Baaaam! Hahaha, I packed my stuff and went for 6 hours down to the venice beach, definitely one of the best days I had so far. Surfing, lying in the sun, surfing, shopping, eating, sun.... NICE ONE!

In the evening, Gautam called me and asked if I wanna hang out in NOHO (North Hollywood), so I picked up Christine, a freelancer of T-Sign and we drove up to NOHO! First we went to P's flat, wich is georgous except one thing!!! HIS ROOMMATE HAS A SNAKE!!!!! F*** YOU!! Everybody knows how hard my snake-phobia is and so I didn't feel that comfortable any more in his flat. We went to a sportsbar, had some "HEFEWEISEN" and Coronas, watched the LA Angels loose against the NYY and of some very very nice Hollywood-Beauties:-)

Afterwards we went to Gautams Place and played ROCKBAND!!! First time in my life, but I gotta tell you, even if I'm a drummer its soooo hard to hit the right pads at the right time, but it was a lot of fun and we rocked even if we all almost fell asleep when it turned 3am:-) So I drove home, kicked out Christine at her place;-) and fell asleep.

Today was also a cool day, very relaxed, stood up talked to my parents which just came back from their italy vacation and to my sister - definitely fun. After cooking and another bunch of extremesport clips I went down to the beach again. But I took my other surfboard, which was given me by Karin for my stay. It was funny, cause it doesn't even float! Hahaha, if you sit on it in the water it sinks:-) So yeah, my surfing today was really not that successfull but you know what I wanna say:-) Now its sunday eve and I will get some work done, go eating at Carloss place and watch a movie.

Have a good start guys,
see you and stick together!

Bye bye your DON ANGER!!!
(Yeah thats my new name, cause no American is able to say Ailinger correctly, so we shortened it a bit! Heheh!)
