Good Evening Fellas back in Germany!
How are you doing?
I just had an amazing and stunning skype talk to two of my very dearest! Gobo und Georg who acutally came back from partying back in my hometown Ravensburg and stayed awake to talk to me! That was "le hämmer" and I really mean "le hämmer"!;-)
Yesterday night I was the way to tired to write some quotes who made sense:-)
But yesterday really was worth to write about so I'm doing it now!

Like the days before I stood up, went instantly down to the beach to jog and swim and enjoyed the first sunlight of the day. After my daily morning fitness program I went to work. Which was actually again really cool! I like the fact to take part in a team which is doing some great projects and treats me so nice...It's a lot of fun!
Lunch is amazing everyday! There are so many possibilities to eat, on almost every corner is an international restaurant from all over the world. So yesterday we went to an indian one, today to an southern state one, with jazz live music!!! Which was acutally really really cool! 3 black guys, jamming together, the one on the trumpets played on 2 at the same time and yeah, they were so entertaining... great!
Enough of the food stories! Now to the things which really count! BEER! Yes yesterday was the day, I had my first one in the states. I went with my colleague Markus and his friend from Austria to Santa Monica. A huge event was supposed to happen there, cause the Santa Monica Pier, which is acutally the END OF THE ROUTE 66, had his 100th birthday. Before going there we went to 3rd promenade, a shopping boulevard, to check some stores, like the Apple one, but no new IPods today. Sad! But who cares;-) After that we went to Pinkberries, amazing! Yogurt-Icecream with fresh fruits, it's delicious as hell!!! So now, Happy
Birthday Santa Monica Pier!!! We went down there, like hundrets too and checked out the band and the rest of the pier, but we recognized one thing instantly! It's a huge party with a lot of people taking part, but what's missing?!?! BEER BEER BEER! No single person drank BEER!

There was only one store at the pier selling beer!
So we stood 20 min in a line to get a 0,33mm-Granade for 5 Bugs!;=) Amazing! But it was okay, I went for two buds and it's not that bad as I expected! After having the beers we went to a rollercoaster of Pacific Park, which is located directly at the pier. Just check the funny picture out right here! And look at the guy behind me!
Hahaha, sick!
8:55pm Time to hit the beach. There were fireworks to come up at 9, so we went to the beach, took a seat and waited! Supported by some american music classics the fireworks started to lighten the californian sky....and that shouldn't end! More than 20 minutes, boats fired rockets into the air! Really really beautiful! After the spectactular we went again for a beer and then back home to the hostel.
Today was pretty much like yesterday, standing up, jogging, working with a nice lunch within, swimming in the sea, breaking my new found boogie-board but then I had this really great skype-conversation with my buds back home! Felt good boys!
Wow and now, end of day 8, I'm more than one week in LA, California! Great! Tomorrow will be moving-day. I'll get my stuff packed and will move to Margareths House after work tomorrow. She was so nice to offer me a place to stay till Markus, the other intern of T-Sign, leaves on tuesday. The library will be mine the next few nights! Great! The house is really nice! Such one you know out of the movies, a typical suburban family home, and my room is almost as big as the one in Ulm. So here we go new life! The family seems also to be really nice. Mum Margareth, her husband, two kids, well acually one of them will go to university next week and a little small rat...sorry dog...:-)
I'll show you some fotos of my new home soon.
Now it's time to leave you again. Drinkin the last sips of my Buds... I gotta do a few things before my eyes close and I sleep tight, like every night again! See you all! Have a nice last day of week today!
Hey buddies!

For all of you who don't know why I chose this title, just make sure to check this one. This post goes out to my dearest Josie!
I've stood up at 9 this morning, made again some sweet sweet pancakes and met the guy from holland again while eating them. He was about to leave the hostel for another one in Santa Monica. So I took the opportunity and went with him. We took the bus, which is a lot cheaper than in Germany. You pay 0.75$ for a long long way, you even can get to downtown for a buck I think. It took 15 minutes to get to an almost brand new city I thought. Santa Monica is the way more clean and less busy than Venice, cause Venice is like rushhour all day. I was really impressed about the beauty of this LA-District. We went directly to Santa Monica Hostel to check him in, and it looks the way cleaner and tidier than my one right now and it's even 4 bucks cheaper each night. So I may move to it the next days...who knows? Who cares?:-)

remembering the movie Forest Gump, so we went in there and asked a kind lady which of both was first, movie or store at the pier. Like we both guessed the movie was first! The pier actually wasn't that crowded like I expected on Labor Day, but I think everyone went down to the beach, cause weather was great again. So we walked to the end of the pier, seamed by a lot of anglers, and looked at all of the little shops, trying to sell senseless "rumsh". After a short visit at one of the oldest carousels (i think), which was built in 1914 we went back to city centre to catch something to eat.
After a pizza slice we went again to some stores, and guess what?! Theres a store which sells baseballcaps and nothing more! It's like heaven, I surely will make it back to it and buy a lot of new caps (just for me, not for you Gobo Go Bob! Just kiddin!) I wanted to go to the beach once more today, so I left Santa Monica and went back to Venice. Before hitting the water I made some spaghetti aglio-oglio to smell nice for my salty ocean;-) The beach was, like I expected, crowded, but with a width of over 30 meters you got a lot of space to lay down. I put my towel to the sand, layed on it and let the sun do its' rest while listening to The Ataris. After a few minutes I went into the great sea to bodysurf again, and do you know what's the funny thing about the people at the beach? All of these Mexicans go into the water fully dressed!!! What the fuck??? Why??? I have no clue. Jeans, Shirts, who cares...the only thing they don't put off are their shoes and socks, which actually would look funny as hell if they'd wear socks while swimming beside you.Back home in hostel there was a huge Labor-Day-Barbecue waiting for all guests. I was looking forward to it the whole day, cause Carl, a big black guy, promised me that they got a lot of vegetarian stuff too. They had it, but it was tasting like sh***, completely burned and not flavored in any way....but what are you suposed to do. "Hold your gosh and put it in";-)
So now I'm stitting here again, on my lovely couch in the hostel lounge, writin to you and expecting my first day of work...
I'll let you know how it was like tomorrow. Now: Checking used surfboards, shipping prices to Germany and watching another episode of NC.
Todays ride is for Bruce, a red lightning called "Electra"...That's for you my dear!!!
