Hey Snowmans, Reindeers and Cowboys out there!
First question: How is the weather back home?!?! Hahahaha! I'm sorry for this one, but thoughts are definitely with you and the snowflakes, poor ratland! ;-)

To talk about the weather is always good, girls love that by the way, and surprise on tuesday: FIRST RAIN IN LA SINCE I'M HERE! Wow! 40 days no rain and god knows when it rained last time... So yes, it actually felt really good to have the rain again, I went out of the office for a couple of minutes to see and feel this spectacular, with the wind it almost felt like a windsurfing day down at the lake of constance, great! It rained for the last two days, not that much, but constantly a light drizzle. So I liked the fact that the weather finally turned and got wet, till the point my boss told me: You know what it means when it rains? ... No surfing for the next few days! After a short explanation, I got it. If it rains, all the dirt and trash from the LA City sweps through the "drains" directly into the ocean...sorry LA but that SUCKS!!! And if you see, what kind of oil-poluted-dirty-water runs down the "DOLADECKL";-) you would understand why noone goes surfing directly after the rain...

So no surfing, that means I need to keep me busy in a different way. I did! Updated the website for Carlos (he instantly forwarded me to a friend I might will do a website for ) and paid me as negotiated in pizza! Hahaha, this is so great! He gave me a pizza, in sum more than 50cm of diameter, and it tasted delicious! Even my new fam loves the fact I get paid in pizza, cause they always get my rests;-)

Yesterday was actually really really cool. Ok it started a bit annoying, cause all LA-People seem to get so nervous if it rains....all the streets were jammed and so it took forever to get to work. Finally there I finished my design for architecture web blog, in a complete new style for me...lot of fun! At 5pm I left, turned the keys and headed Hollywood! Great! The drive ther was cool, my navi led me through some pretty districts with cool houses and perfect green gardens. The reason I went to Hollywood was the Alternative Press Fall Ball, a tour of great bands which stopped at the Paladium there. The venue was just awesome! An old renovated broadway theater with cool balconies and galleries, and the best thing, even with my 10 bucks ticket I was allowed (at least I think) to go everywhere! Paladium: 10 pts! But the best thing is still to come - Girl-Percentage: 75%! Yeeeha! But yeah, not that many were over 18 BUT, you know that we don't care! We let care! (->goes out to wingman:-) The bands were cool, first You Me At Six, from the UK, sadly the singer was sick and goofed the pretty good Lady Gaga cover. After them Secret Handshake, cool project and a talented guy. Then the time had come, SET YOUR GOALS,...but yeah, I'm disappointed about this band live. The singers rule so hard on the record but really suck live. But anyways, after The Academy Is... (gayest singer ever) Mayday Parade ruled and smashed the stage! Great! 3 singers doing the loveliest three voices ever! Tight, tight, tight!

After the show and two great Longboard Beers I headed home and showed the lousy american car drivers who rules the freeway, its me, 1990s-Thunderbird-Don!:-) And I gotta tell you that everytime my foot hits the break I'm scared to death! These noises and shakes of my car!!! But yeah, I'm still alive and still the fastest fox on the road!

Today was a very sleepy day, even if temperatures raised over night, I almost fell asleep after lunch! Which was acutally very delicious, went with the boss to an indian restaurant and ate some really really good and spicy vegetable-rice mix with a mango drink! Mhhhh! Nice one! After work I went for my 3.5 mile run but my legs felt heavy as hell, maybe I gained some weight;-) Actually I think I did. My rich meals and my workout every day seem to be effective.

Now it's time for another daily soap, after this great Alert for Cobra Eleven Episode today. See you guys all soon, and enjoy your weekends buddies! We'll all meet in skype!
Bye bye,
your CaliBoy

To make your life suck: TOMORROW 32 DEGREES IN LA!!!!! AND I'M TALKING BOUT CELCIUS!!! HEHEHEHEHEH!

Hey all you buddies out there!
I'm still so stoked about what happened today!

The day started as usal, cell-alarm rang, turned it off thousand times, almost overslept but made it to work in time. As the weather turned cloudy and the sky darkened everybody felt sleepy and a nap after lunch would have been great! But yeah, we don't wanna waste time at work, we want to knock off just in time to hit the waves!

And so I did, went to my surfspot in Venice again. As I walked towards the beach, looking out at the water, I couldn't believe my eyes, I thought I've seen two fins coming out of the water and diving in again...No this can't be, thought too much about the sharks the last days...WAIT! Another time, fin up and down...I looked left, two officers where sitting in their jeep and I asked completely confused: "Is this a shark out there?!" The officer turned towards the sea, looked at me and said: "Oh boy, no, these are dolphins! We got a bunch of them here these days, if they're here you are safe" Hahaha! What, are u kidding me?!?! Dolphins, not even 20 meters away in the water? That is amazing!!!

SO I SURFED WITH DOLPHINS TODAY!!!!

Isn't this great?! I would say that this is one of the greatest things ever happened in my life. Not that you touch them or swim with them, but you sit on your stick, waiting for the next wave to catch and see the dolphins maybe 20m away from you! That is soooo awesome!!! Wow! California I am in love with you, if I haven't been it till now, I definetly am now!! One of the best moments here!!!

Now its time for some midnight workout, the new Beverly Hills and you should definetely should check out a new movie coming out the next couple of days here. And T-Sign, our company, is kind of involved in all this participant media, thing, so maybe we'll do a blog for this movie soon...

Lets call em FUCKERS!!!
I will tell you bout the movie!
See you guys all soon!

Hey boys and girls, dogs and Katzebohles out there! How was your weekend? How is the monday-flavour today?

First of all! Here's my update to the concert last week! Thats Luke, the guitar player of Parkway Drive, really nice guy! Thanks to Michelle who did the shot!

My weekend was just great! It started pretty good with a big skype call on saturday morning with a lot of KB99ers back home! Have a look at the picture:-) They plugged me into a huge widescreen tv, lot of fun!!! So I got the brand hot news out of the city of gates and towers, and believe me, they are brand hot!:-) Before this huge call I already had two done with my fam, bringin me kind of bad news, my van didn't pass the TÜV and needs another surgery, BUT I'll pass it, no questions bout that! After letting the connection lines to europe glow i headed downtown for my first time! It was great, first thing I saw getting out of my car: a Paulaner flag! And a sign: HUGE OKTOBER FEST! And I was like...rhhhh! Lots of asians and americans dressed in dirndls and lederhsoen, looking stupid and drinking (probably not even german) beer, but anyways, Oktoberfest is sooo huge here! They even got Oktoberfest beer in stores right now...

Yeah, downtown! It took long to walk to downtown from my parking lot, but it was a good chance to see a lot of things, and I did, Staples Center, Convention Center and a lot more things. I had a great meal at a wrap restaurant, nice veggie wrap with my new favourite drink: Vitamine Water (tropical citrus + guarana, (just bought 10 of them an hour ago:-)). Downtown LA is not that special I've got so say, well, I haven't seen that much, but yeah, just a lot of mexican stores, some sights and a few skyscrapers...but maybe theres more to see, I'll be down there again soon. Maybe with GREG!!! Yeha! My cuz will come to visit me!!! He will be here in 2 weeks and stay for more than a week! Sick! Will be a great time! Can't wait to have em here, and the best thing, he's here over halloween (I don't even know if he knows that!). So yeah, this will be a great time! For shizzle!

After my downtown visit, I went to the "BIGGEST touring Tattoo Convention" at the Convention Center LA...Well yeah, 22 bucks entry and not even 50 exhibitors...that sucks! But anyways, it was a cool event, everywhere the noise of tattoo-machines, faces filled with pain and a lot of scary all over tattooed mexicans :-) I've walked the rows up and down, looking for some tattoo artist with good work and a nice human being! There haven't been that much, but one exhibitor was instantly sympathetic: THE NICE GUY TATTOO! What a name for a tattoo store, complete contrast to all these fucked up mexican tuff guy shops! So I went there and talked to the guys, one named Tom was awesome, really nice guy and the stuff he does is amazing! Great tattoos and drawings...but check it out: Toms Website So I will visit him at his shop soon and then we'll getting started! I'm stoked, hell yeah!

Sunday started pretty much the same, again some skype sessions caused of the time difference. Thereafter it was time for my sundays 6.5 mile run! It was horrible, so exhausting...but yeah, a six-point-fiver is not that easy as you might believe. I did it in a good time and was happy to take a cold shower afterwards. I ate a bit, watched some series and headed down to venice to surf! It was sunny, but the wind cooled down everything, except the water, it still feels okay to get in. There weren't that many surfers, maybe about four or five, caused by the waves....cause they sucked today...kind of chaos in the water, but still some to catch. It's still soo hard even to stand up. Once I made it and had a good but short stand...but lets see! Tomorrow, next try after work! Yeah, after that I went to Carlos, talking bout some stuff and then to Ralphs Supermarket to spend a hundret bucks on foodstuffs:-) Good one:-)

Now I gotta lay down, read my surfers mag. Thinking of my dudes and girls back home and enjoy the rest of the evening.

See you all soon!
Thunder
